my first post.
i’ve had this thought about how the movies i love can relate so much to that certain point of my life…
let’s see…
the first movie i ever liked since young is

apparently it is Jackie Chan’s favourite movie as well!
i was a child, life was like Do Re Mi, and what do i really know about Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens?
well, i think the innocence and optimism applies to all children of the middle-class.
i watched the following movie when i was in high school….

musicals were like long gone until they came up with this. still fascinated by musicals anyway, and how great it is to be Bohemian? TRUTH.BEAUTY.FREEDOM.LOVE.
i finished high school, and joined my sister in Melbourne for my uni studies. and then i bumped into my all-time favourite

memories can be bitter or sweet; they are pieces of puzzles that make us who we are.
i just watched this like yesterday, and was struck thoroughly by it…

yes, like they say, it is depressing. but so is life. there are just too many passive-aggressive people in the world that could not admit they are not happy. fortunate for those who do, but most of them could not be bothered to do anything about it. there is a Paris in everyone of us, be it a place of residence, travel destination or fantasyland. we talk about it all the time, but have you booked your tickets?
